ArcPanel is a free, open-source control panel for Linux web servers. It runs web domains, mail, DNS, databases, SSL and backups from one dashboard and one command line, with resellers, Node.js apps and Docker apps, and every feature is in the free release.

When CyberPanel is the better choice

  • You want the LiteSpeed web server and its page cache.
  • Your servers run AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, RHEL or CloudLinux; ArcPanel installs on Debian and Ubuntu only.

When ArcPanel fits

  • You run Debian, or want NGINX and Apache rather than LiteSpeed. See how
  • You want every feature without paid add-ons. See how
  • You want a panel whose web interface never runs as root and checks every download against a pinned hash. See how

Moving from CyberPanel

ArcPanel installs on a fresh Debian or Ubuntu server and has no importer for CyberPanel. Create the accounts and sites on the new server, copy files and databases, then switch DNS.

We do not offer a migration from CyberPanel yet.

Questions

Is ArcPanel affected by the CyberPanel vulnerabilities of 2024?

No. ArcPanel shares no code with CyberPanel. The vulnerabilities CVE-2024-51378, CVE-2024-51567 and CVE-2024-51568 were in CyberPanel and were fixed by its developers.

How does ArcPanel protect the panel itself?

The web interface never runs as root: every action goes through a validated command, file operations run as the hosting user, the panel user may run only listed commands through sudo, and every download is checked against a pinned SHA-256.

Can ArcPanel import a CyberPanel server?

Not yet. Install ArcPanel on a fresh server and move sites, databases and mail yourself.
